About Shadovelle

Our Story

The name Shadovelle was born from two words — shadow and velle, meaning to wish.
It captures our belief that shadows hold endless space for imagination. When light meets paper, a quiet story begins — simple, poetic, and full of wonder. We chose this name because our creations are made for night-time storytelling, when the world slows down and imagination glows brightest.

Our Design Philosophy

Each silhouette card is made to come alive when touched by light.
Colour fades, yet the imagination expands — the absence of colour lets every viewer complete the story in their own way. As the distance between light and card changes, the shadow grows or shrinks, filling the room with moving scenes that feel alive.

The Moment We Create

We imagine a warm evening: lights dimmed, family gathered, a story unfolding in shadows on the wall.
Gigantic silhouettes dance as each scene changes, turning an ordinary night into something quietly magical. In that shared glow, we step away from our phones and screens, returning to the timeless charm of storytelling — just like the old shadow plays that once brought people together.
